MUSEO DELLA SIBILLA - MUSEUM OF THE SIBILLA
The museum is divided into separate sections, each of which consists of artistic, historical and cultural aspects of the entire town of Montemonaco. The exhibits, including ancient books and scrolls, testify to the close relationship between the landscape and the local way of life along with the ancient legends.

PINACOTECA F. DURANTI - ART GALLERY
The Art Gallery is dedicated to Fortunato Duranti (1797-1863), the romantic bohemian painter and refined collector of works of art who donated these to the town. The Art Gallery of works cover a wide span, from Gothic to Neoclassical. The paintings and drawings of Fortunato Duranti, the "extravagant artist of genius", as he appears in a fascinating self-portrait, constitute a body of original and substantial artwork. There are very interesting works by Corrado Giaquinto, Christopher Unterberher, Francesco Solimena and Carlo Maratta). Amongst the jewels of the fifteenth century are a cross from the Venetian school and boards called the "Alamanno" (active in Le Marche from 1475). The Palazzo Leopardi, which houses the Art Gallery, is a most valuable example of sixteenth century architecture. It belonged to Sir Desire Leopardi curator of the Statute of Montefortino. Leopardo Leopardi, from the same family, was the author of "Historic Memories of Montefortino, Le Marche in 1783.
